Herts U15 dominate Stage 1 Inter-County Competition

The England Squash Inter-County competition kicked off this weekend with our U15 side travelling to Ipswich Sports Club to play 3 matches against Berkshire, Suffolk and neighbours Essex.  Our first tie was against Berkshire and with Tim Dixon, Philip Waller and Ryan Mays each making their debut for the side, Herts wasted no time in dismissing the opposition 5-0 without dropping a single game.  After lunch Herts took on Essex and after a shaky start, Tim Dixon won his match 3-1.  Rhys and Ryan also dropped games against determined opposition before winning their matches while Philip and Oliver eased comfortably through with 3-0 victories.  Our final match against Suffolk saw our players return to complete domination of the opposition with the loss of only 23 points overall!  A great day out for all and we look forward to the Stage 2 competition when things will not be as easy.
