The second half draw will be sent out in the week between 18/02/08 and 25/02/08 to allow for court bookings. The team captains for the dates of the 25/02/08 will be phoned earlier to allow for the first week of the second half matches to be played.

If you have a problem booking courts, we advise all teams to provisionally book the 25th February anyway.

Obviously the above draw is a PROVISIONAL one based on this year’s entrants. It will be redrafted in light of any other new teams joining/re-joining the league, however the addition would only mean the team stated as week off, would automatically be playing team 10, it will only be the venue to confirm.

It has not been viable in this format to give the usual Half term breaks, if this is problematic for teams and they are aware now that not enough team members are available for half term dates, then we will allow for the matches to be played either during the week before or after the half terms. Please liaise early on and in agreement with the other team. Failure to agree will mean that the match will have to be played on the allocated day.

Please remember it is up to the home team to confirm matches, however it is polite to be alerting either team of any issues as early as possible and helpful for catering purposes.

Thank you and good squashing this season.

All confirmed entry replies must be sent with a cheque for £25 payable to “Herts SRA” to Fiona McClure at 10a three Stiles, Benington, Herts before the commencement of the season.

All results this season will again be via email to Fiona McClure to be received in the week immediately following the match (particularly important in Feb calculation times).

Here are the Ladies Team WINTER League FINAL results on 3rd April 2007

At this point in the league, the teams have been split with the top 4 teams going on to play each other in Division one and the bottom four in Division 2. It was a close run thing between NG, Haileybury and Allenburys to see which two would stay up. It all came down to the final game on 15th Jan.

Congratulations to Bishop Stortford and Allenburys respectively for their wins. There is still much debate about the format for next years league. I would value comments from Tring, Gosling and Cannons 2 as I have not spoken to you directly about this years format. How would Division two teams feel about entering two 3 man teams rather than one 5 man team?

Many Thanks, Fiona McClure
