Harry Faulkner Appeal

Following the tragic death of Harry Faulkner in February, Vikki Spratt (22), the sister of East Region junior Chloe from Hertfordshire, is sky diving to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

CRY was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of conditions that can lead to young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) and sudden death syndrome (SDS). One alarming statistic on their website is that at least 12 young people die suddenly each week in the UK of previously undetected heart problems; screening can help to identify most cardiac abnormalities.

The charity is looking to raise money to help fund the screening of young athletes and research projects into the causes of cardiac arrest in the young.
